Silkscreening CMYK by hand is basically a very elaborate way of asking for trouble: registration needs to be spot-on, and any variety in the pressure you apply will result in differences in the colour balance. Nevertheless, i thought i’d give it a bash on my own vacuum press (the one’s i’ve done before were all on the Michaelis Art School’s very nice press) for this new Buckfever Underground poster.

Edition is 54, 4 colours on 250 gsm Munken Pure (consider it official, my ageing back can’t handle big editions anymore).

Yes! The Sticky Antlers are finally coming to Cape Town, this is their tour poster. 4 screens on 130 gsm Munken Pure, edition of 98.
