Decoder Ring Design Concern Art Print Series

One of the most amazing things i’ve seen recently is this series of Art Prints from The Decoder Ring Design Concern. How it works is that they invite artists into their printing studio for a week, over which they work together on a crazily intensive art print. Artists include Dalek (whose contribution is pictured above), Aesthetic Apparatus, Jay Ryan, Burlesque of North America, Diana Sudyka, Tara McPherson; quite prominent figures indeed. And the prints that come out of this are just so unbelievably gorgeous.  Even nicer is the thorough documentation of the process, that TDRDC allow you to view on the gallery. This is pretty much any print enthusiast’s wet dream: the goalposts have officially been shifted.
