Ramon Galvan and Shower Songs live & DJ Spooky

For anyone in Cape Town keen to catch something very rare and unique, sound artist, lecturer and mandolin player Brendon Bussy has started putting on a series of intimate house concerts, the next of which, on Monday 15 December,  will feature his duo with Masha Du Toit, Shower Songs, who play covers ranging from “13th century italian folk song to 21st century punk”, as well as the new trio of former Blackmilk vocalist Ramon Galvan. Ramon is a contributor to my upcoming album, and we also played one or two gigs together as a duo. This here Youtube vid is me and him playing his song ‘Chang, You’, which is based on ‘Tintin in Tibet’, no less!

Also, i cannot urge anyone enough to download his magnificent track, No Rest.
